Acarnan hariolus. Herodor. l. 1. c. 62. Hic Pisistratum ad Athenas invadendas incitaturus, divinâ pompâ fungens, sic vaticinatus est:
Ε῎ῤριπται ὁ Βόλος, τὸ δὲ δικτύον Ϛ᾿κπεπέταςται,
Θύννοι δ᾿ ὀιμήσουσι σεληναίης διὰ νυκτός.
Est nummus projectus, item sunt retia tenta,
Nocte meant tbynni claro sub sidere Lunae.
Vel. ut alii reddunt:
Verriculum iactum est, expansaque retia, nocte
Mox aderunt thynm etc. Quorum verborum occasione,
Pisistratus Athenienses post cenam, partim ludentes, partim sopicos aggressus, tertiâ vice Athenarum potitus est.
